Star (Polly Thayer) is born in Boston.

Polly Thayer Starr is a member of a family of Boston lawyers, graduates from the Winsor School, and studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in Paris, and at the Art Students League in New York City. After marrying lawyer Donald Thayer in 1932, she becomes one of Boston’s most noted artists. Thayer dies on August 30, 2006.
